Born in the vibrant city of New Orleans and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Amanda’s early years were shaped by a blend of the people of her community, cultures and experiences. She attended Rosary High School in Spanish Lake, where she cultivated a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.

Amanda’s pursuit of knowledge led her to Alabama, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Science from Auburn University Montgomery. She continued her academic journey at the University of Alabama, where she obtained her Master of Science in Biochemistry, honing her skills in critical thinking and problem-solving.

After completing her education, Amanda embarked on a fulfilling career in brain research at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. For 14 years, she dedicated herself to advancing scientific knowledge and contributing to groundbreaking discoveries in the field.

Driven by a desire for new challenges and opportunities, Amanda transitioned to a completely different path. She founded her own website, where she shares insightful film reviews, conducts engaging interviews with industry talent, and brings the excitement of Hollywood to her audience by walking the red carpet in Los Angeles.

In addition to her passion for the arts and entertainment industry, Amanda is deeply committed to education. Recognizing the challenges faced by the local school district due to funding shortages and teacher shortages, she has stepped in as a substitute teacher, lending her expertise and support to ensure that students receive quality education and guidance.

Amanda’s family is deeply rooted in our community, with her husband working as a healthcare professional at BJC and her children pursuing their education locally. This connection fuels her dedication to making our community a better place for every resident.
